LEARN
FROM THOSE WHO DO!
There are many programs out there
that deliver what they proclaim. The SILVER SCREEN GROUP
is one of them. Industry-active, award-winning, qualified instructors
who teach you about the craft and business of
filmmaking.
Here's
how it all started...
With the
boom of the indie film in the early 90's, film schools and filmmaking
seminars popped up across North America at a rapid rate. You now have
your choice of a 2 or 4 year program at reputable Universities where
you'll earn a degree in your chosen trade. There's also a numerous
selection of 2-6 week workshops that promise you a working knowledge
of filmmaking. The glutten of 1-day seminars that vow you'll walk
away with a solid understanding of 'How To Make an Indie Film', but
are too often taught by guys whoyou can't even find on the IMDB!
So what is the
answer?
Before you
commit your time and money, ask yourself a couple of questions:
- After you've spent your hard earned money, will you
have the hands-on training and savy to GET and then KEEP your
foothold within the industry?
- Do
your instructors still actively working in the independent film
arena? Do they have any credits to back up what they are teaching?
Be sure you
know these answers before you leap. Take the time to find out which
program is right for you!
The SILVER
SCREEN GROUP offers specifically targeted serminars, classes and
workshops for aspiring:
- ACTORS
- DIRECTORS
- PRODUCERS
- SCREENWRITERS
- PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS
